2018 - ...
Searching for instances of an imperfect past. These monuments, whether they belong to a city’s architecture, or act as ornaments in a park, have witnessed lifetimes of histories. Their significance is tirelessly contested by the present, past and future. Empty pedestals attest to a forgotten history, the moss which grows on their surface bring them back to a living present. The cracks in churches facades are filled with modern materials, much like old paintings are restored to their original colours. This ongoing project attempts to capture these fragmented layers of time.
